Charles Daniel Kajokaya, a 2011 WMF Scholar from Sudan studying Business Administration stands proudly on the Kampala International University campus in front of their new library facilities! This past summer Charles worked during his break at the Kajo-Keji County Department of Finance/Accounts. The department is under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of South Sudan and is responsible for overseeing, planning and monitoring government activities/projects in the county. Charles had the chance to apply his accounting studies to real world activities such as preparing pay sheets, recording receipts and payments, monthly account reporting and the preparation of the 2013/2014 financial report proposal for the Kajo-Kelji county.
