Day Two: Brian Juma Omala
Brian Juma Omala studies Community Resource Management at Kenyatta University in Nairobi. Recently he participated in Orphans Day held in May with the Community Resource Management Club. He visited the Happy Life Children’s Home in Roisambu, Nairobi. During the day Brian and fellow friends played with the kids, cooked, cleaned and socialized with the children. These few hours of service gave the full-time staff of the organization a must needed rest. Brian writes that, “We learnt that a person cannot change the whole world, but can change the whole world for a single child”.
May Brian’s update bring reassurance that we live in a very caring world!
Due to his commitment to providing service to others, dedication to his studies and leadership skills, Brian was elected Vice Chairperson of the Community Resource Management Club and also the Resource Allocation Chair for the Kenya Red Cross Kenytatta University Chapter.
