Six days until we announce our new 2013-2014 WMF Scholars! For six days we will share the different stories of current WMF Scholars who are making a difference in their communities worldwide. We hope you become inspired to become an active member of your community. It is the power of a community that creates change.
Day One: Olive Tem
Olive Tem of Cameroon is studying Education Psychology and Special Education at the University of Buea. Olive is one of 14 children and has dedicated herself to gaining the skills needed to assist people who are living in poverty or with disabilities. For six weeks this semester Olive has volunteered at the Catholic School Buea Station in the South West Region of Cameroon. Olive works with her students to improve their future. We believe Olive is well on her way of achieving her dream of one day running a foundation to assist others in need.
