WMF Alumni Felix Kawooya of Uganda joined the Wells Mountain Foundation in 2011. Today he is very proud to share photos from his university graduation, swearing in ceremony, and internship! With his internship complete, Dr. Felix Kawooya has applied to the Uganda Medical Council for full registration as a Medical Officer! The new Dr. Felix Kawooya states, “Surely, all this would not have been possible without the support of WMF. I sincerely appreciate WMF for the great contribution to my life. WMF will remain part of my life and am glad to be part of the family. I will always be thankful to WMF for the contribution to better my life and my community.” He will now begin working within the health unit of the Rapha Medical Centre! Dr. Felix is charged with developing the health unit to a hospital status. This includes establishing an operating room for the community!
