This year’s Orphans Day which was 7th of May, we, the Community Resource Management Club, visited Happy Life Children’s Home Roisambu, Nairobi, where we really had fun playing with the kids, cooking for them, cleaning and talking to them. We also donated various things to them. We learnt that a person cannot change the whole world, but can change the whole world for a single child. I have attached some of the photos we took while there.The club members also elected me to the post of vice chairperson. Also, The Kenya Red Cross Kenyatta University Chapter elected me the Resource Allocation and Dissemination Person. Activities for the club this semester have already kicked off and we shall soon visit Mathare Hospital for the mentally challenged individuals. I am also working very hard to achieve my dreams and accomplish my goals.
