Greetings from Amal Prossy

Hi Happy New year.

I am Amal Prossy of Gulu University, one of WMF beneficiaries wishing you the best in 2012. I am very happy and I can see a light of hope. The support the WMF gave me for my university studies has driven away my darkness and my worries about my future life. Now I am determined to do my best to complete my degree in Education. My joy, hapiness I owe to WMF.

I would like to share my advice to fellow beneficiaries of WMF. Let us be determined to do well in our studies as a good sign of appreciations for the support we receive for our bright future. Let us keep focus. Let us put education first, because that is what you will invest in future. And also keep in good health; avoid all risky behaviours that will prevent us from completing our studies. In my tribe, Acholi, there is a proverb which says [TWO WAYS CONFUSES AN HAYENA] meaning, “You cannot do two things at a go. First handle one thing that is academics, and then other things will follow after wards.” And remember to put God first in all ways.

Once again, much appreciation goes to WMF, and greetings to my brothers and sisters of WMF. I love you all. Wishing you the best of luck in 2012.

Amal Prossy
