Leju Benjamin Modi is a WMF Scholar from South Sudan studying Medicine and Surgery in Kenya. He recently spent his February vacation volunteering as a teacher to students of the Jalimo Secondary School in Kajo-Keji Country, Center Equatoria State – Juba. The Head Teacher praised Leju for improving the science department and the students’ attitudes towards science subjects! In additional to teaching Physics and Chemistry, Leju also assisted with the development of counseling staff and career guidance. Students were very thankful for Leju’s return to empower their secondary studies!
