Dear Wells Mountain Foundation,
Happy Christmas and New Year!
Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this letter to say thank and appreciate your efforts to encourage educational and social activities in world. I am highly thankful for your support for my M.B.B.S program at Khawaja Muhammad Safdar Medical College, Sialkot, Pakistan. Without your financial support I would not be able to pursue my program. I remember correctly, in August 2013, I was planning to quit my educational program due to lack of financial support and then suddenly, I received your email and it was new life in my body. Since then, I have adopted your agenda of support and participated in many volunteer activities whenever I got opportunity to do so. Since August, I have participated in following programs regularly run by my college
- Village Health Survey (We conducted this project on behalf of Government of Pakistan as part of Health program for 2014. It was volunteer program and we were just given refreshment and pick and drop from our college)
- Free Medical Camp (I with my other student fellows participated in free medical camps organized by our college in Sialkot under the supervision of experienced Professional team of Doctors)
- Blood Camp (this activity is regularly contacted by my college for donation purpose. In which college students and other general public participates)
In future I have following programs to do:
- Training of girls in my village for preparing them to get admission in M.B.B.S programs. Its is highly costly for students to get training from professional institutions and girls have also problems in traveling, because these types of the centers are almost 200km away from my village.
- My village has no proper medical system, so with collaboration of other doctors in my college, we will organize a medical camp especially for my village. So, that poor people who can’t afford medical treatment could, be treated at low cost.
Again, I am highly thank full for your support and would like to work on continuously on social development of the society
