Rijan attends Kathmandu University in Nepal. He recently wrote:
Its a good news that I have been awarded by “Sami Yuba Protsahan Puraskar” yesterday. The award is given to the youth less than 25 years old. The award consists of cash on NRS 25000 which is nearly equal to $284 . I have been selected for this year. I took award from former Prime Minister of Nepal, Mr Surya Bahadur Thapa.
