Lolly Burgin Director of Read to Know sent this note Dec. 17: ” The books arrived Friday and thank you so much. We will take them to Michael’s Energy Factory, a large day-care center in Paterson tomorrow. The staff gives the books to parents to use as Christmas gifts, since many of them have little or nothing to give their children. For many of these children, it is their first new book. Your generosity allows us to fill this gap at least a little. Thanks so much for helping us help the kids.
