2012 WMF Scholars

Congratulations to our brand new 2012 WMF Scholars!!

This year we received a record-breaking 1700 applications for our WMF 2012 Empowerment through Education Scholarships.  Each application was read completely at least once.  Many were eliminated at this point due to being incomplete.  The best moved on to another round of review and elimination.  Again, top ones were selected and moved to the next round. This process happened twice more, until we arrived at the list below.

Many, many worthy students did not receive scholarships due to our limited funds.  We had to make some extremely difficult decisions and we understand that many of our applicants are very, very disappointed.  To those who are not WMF 2012 Scholars, we encourage you to keep following your dreams, keep striving to gain education and don’t give up hope.  You are all wonderful and possess amazing potential.

I thank God for the new scholars, I did make an application and was hoping that I was going to be successful but I did not make it. I still have faith in the Lord that HE is going to open me ways cause I really needed financial aid especially for the august semester which I have not registered for .In as much as I didn’t get the scholarship I still thank the organization for the needy students who they helped.May God bless you.
